yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay *heart heart
i went to an EFC today! :)
it was so strangely homely
and everything in there reminded me of PJEFC
during the Tmn Megah days.
it was small, cozy and warm (the personalities).
the ambience was alot like home's too!
the church is very family orientated,
there was dedication service (of a baby named Tobey)
there was announcements (just like in PJEFC)
there was also flower offering omg just like home *tears with happiness
ALTHOUGH.
hahahaha..
it was a bit off that we had to stand and sit and stand and sit and stand and sit after every song, or prayer or... song? yeah. there was alot of standing and sitting. i wasn't quite expecting that, but i ADAPTED! i then held my coat in my arms so i didn't need to keep putting it down and taking it back up again :D
and the music was simple and sweet.
we sang all hyms though.. i only knew ONE.
and FINALLY, i sang :)
the drummer was an old man. using brushes... no sound system, see. the pianist is a REALLY good pianist! but doesn't vary very much in terms of starting a song. kinda like.. playing the last line of that song and then people will just automatically start. hehehe :) there was no worship leader, just an old lady up there singing into the mic because everyone was singing so loudly! and and the bassist was unheard :\ but he had a good looking bass though!
i was NOT the only chinese tooo!
well. only Malaysian chinese...
there was a japanese family
aaaaaaand a korean one :)
i met with a Malaysian...! she's really old though. well. like old as in.. old la. not frail kinda old, but old nonetheless :) she's from Seremban, and she's been in Britain since... 1967 O.o soooooo, that's pretty long.. but she knows what i'm talking about when it comes to food mwaha :) so i'm well taken care of in this church if i choose to keep attending.
it IS expensive to keep commuting though.
i have a confession :|
i feel pretty bad about it. but really i boh lui liao (in my oyster)
