... when men would show up at a woman's doorstep with flowers
... when men would open doors for women
... when men would open car doors for women before gettin in
... when men would throw their shirts down on a puddle that she may step across
... when men would give chocolates on Valentines day
... when men would say "wow" when a woman takes effort to dress well
... when men would write poetry for a woman

aiyah. 21st century already. that's why like that.
is it?
sigh :(
why has chivalry dissipated?
don't they know that flowers capture hearts no matter how fast they die?
or that chocolates and sweets are the essence of what girls are made of?
or that poetry really melts a girl's heart?
or that opening doors for us really surprises us (in a good way!) ?
maybe it's because women these days are so headstrong that men have taken a backseat in being men. they've... they've... hmm. they... erm. how do you say?
soohk chun.
(trans: shrunk balls!)
maybe it is our fault. maybe it was the girls who drove them to incapability. or maybe it's the fact that sexism has driven us girls to be like men in the first place? or that men just have a natural tendency to be lazy when they see work being done without doing it themselves.
BOTH are to blame.
but chivalry SHOULD still exist :)
solely because men are to be men- macho, strong, loving leaders.
and women?
