and the BEST thing i can look forward to, is a hot bowl of clear herbal soup (complete with kai yee dou).

and ah behind my halls got like 5345098342534 chicken fast food stores, sure bankrap one har har
the chickens here, mostly not halal one. cos you know la, muslims aren't the predominant rakyat here mah. and i've grown to appreciate halal chicken even more now. NON halal chicken actually tastes different! don't ask me how, it just does!
and right, people here appreciate different parts of the chicken one.
like back home right, we all love the kai pei (drumstick) and the kai yee dou (thighs) right (exceptions don't count la, we all have our unique taste, stop ARGUING with me la grr!)
but here right, they all super love the breast meat.
i mean yea, it's the MOST meat, and also the nicest to chew and all that, but CMON!!
a price difference of almost 500% higher okay thats madness wtf.
like see ah, i bought this whole tray of kai yee dous (inside got like7 la), and it only cost me 1.86 pounds only. and then ah, i bought this OTHER tray of breast meat (only 4 inside), and it was a flipping 7.06 pounds hokay!!!!!!! *chokes on saliva*
then i heart wrenchingly put that into my kart because i thought i deserve to eat some good chicken T.T
THEN!
i went round the corner and then i saw this whole reduced items stuff la.
and they were selling chicken breast meat (4 in a tray) for 5 pounds! i almost yelped in happiness as i grabbed for it and then i hoity toitily trotted back to that lanci super expensive area to put back the 7 pounds chicken breast meat.
it was reduced laaaaaaaaa T.T means it will expire very soon.
but ah, people here don't really make use of their freezer one -_- i mean do you know how LONG you can store food in the freezer??? up to 2 months okay!!! dah lah you can refrigerate until the shown date, but i'm not taking any chances with REDUCED items la. so i just pop it into the freezer and take it out when i feel like being pampered.
wtf pampered with chicken breast omg T.T somebody donate me some money to pamper myself with material things PLEAAAAAAAAAASEEEEE
so now i've got only a few chicken pcs left. i've been boiling the herbal soup for 2 days liao. and now left with 3 kai yee dous and 4 chicken breast meat (s?) :(
i should really get a life lah
fish is too expensive and the pork here tastes funny.
beef and lamb donnit say la :( spensive maut.
but i don't like red meat so i only eat chicken and pork anyway.
since BOTH tastes funny in this country i have to pick my bigger love-
CHICKEN.
no seriously.
i need to get a life right T.T

chicken thigh super nice to eat la, but difficult to cook loh.. breast meat not that nice (almost no taste one), but easy to cook and cut up la :( sigh. got to take all this into consideration now haha
