who knew it would have been such a big deal??

well it was :) every part of London (and i expect England) was decked and just bursting with fireworks! :) every colour every pattern, extracting oohs and aahs from the quietest of people and striking silence into the worst kinds.

so i went with ming zi, melissa and yong tze to watch some display of it in Trent Park.. we were there very well early, reaching Oakwood station at about 7.55, so that the anticipated bus ride into the campus would help be perfectly on time. but noooooo :( the bus load was full and there is no standing allowed, so we had to wait another like, 10 minutes for the next bus to come and we were 10 minutes late. by the time we walked over to the place where they were just blasting it all, only 15 minutes left of show-time.

everything very shaky...
but trust, the display was ACTUALLY really good!

i suppose not as GREAT as the one we had in cyberjaya (or was it putrajaya) earlier this year... but it's the best thing i've seen in this past week. it really made me smile :)
