Take That, Pffbt!

argh i cannot tahan already. i'm so sick of working on that lab report i'm driving myself up the wall with it!! i keep reading the SAME questions- the SAME questions that remain unanswered because i'm not competent enough to answer them.

everytime we put our all into a lab report, we get feedback saying that "[it] was the worse batch of lab reports we have EVER marked in the past 8 years of reading lab reports".

WHAAAAAAAAT???
okay so put in MORE effort, add in MORE past researches, and fit in MORE details. the next feedback: "only slightly better".

wah. ONE more lab report to go and with that kinda feedback it's not encouraging loh. 10% each for the module is freaking alot and even with MAXIMUM input it's still "only slightly better". pai seh la right. try so hard also no use. might as well not try as hard, right?

OH and i found out that MOST of the answers for the lab report can be found in the lecturer's book (he wrote it mah ahem*). so if you bought his book (20quid omg), you will surely be able to answer the questions. why? because not only are the answers all printed there, he gives you additional reading material to cite!

SO BASICALLY!
the whole lab report should be summed up into ONE question

"Did you, or did you not buy my book?"
yes/no

and if you answer yes, you will get the full 10% and if you answer no you will get somewhere between 0-9% depends on his mood loh. pffbt. unfair right! -_-

that's not even the most mm song part. just because some students cannot afford to buy 20 pound books just for 2 measely lab reports, doesn't mean we should do worse right? because we have to put in triple, if not quadruple times the effort just to get a decent answer, while the lazy spoilt rich kids get it easy! it's REALLY unfair. i have living breathing proof!

me: the poor cina apek student who cannot afford to spend 20 pounds on a book to answer 2 lab reports and then chuck it aside after one term. put in super alot of effort to answer questions but still get so-so marks.

lazy girl i mentioned before in my previous post: SPOILT LAZY LITTLE GIRL who bought the book cos she had extra money to throw around gets high marks because she has the physiobio bible to the lab report.

yah and i'm not about to ask her for the book because i is not liking her because she doesn't pull her weight! AT ALL! thank God for peer assessment forms. i had a blast completing it. what with drawing lots of circles under her name. hmph!

my room is in a mess and weird strings have begun to form on my carpet again. i need to hoover and replace the bin bag for my bin.

cannot open bank account because the name on my passport isn't the same as my name written ala british. super weird loh.

lets say your name is Stephen Tai Woon Hock (completely fictional name), when you come to britain, they won't know which is your surname (they only recognise "Stephen"). they will wonder which is yr last name because Tai, Woon and Hock could be chinese surnames (aiya you know la chinese stereotypes). so when you tell them that your surname is Tai, and Woon Hock is your given name (how else can you explain chinese names wor?), they will gladly and automatically arrange your name to be:

Stephen Woon Hock Tai.
because surnames are ALWAYS at the end.

yea so i had to tell them that my surname is *******, ****** and ****** so that they will put my name in the exact same order as it is printed on my passport.

so ppl ppl, i have an announcement to make...
i have 3 surnames. NOT one. you people all very normal only got ONE surname. i got THREE okay cannot mess with me.

this country is odd.
i hate the weather.
i hate the food even more.
the sun is hardly up and the sky is always pissing.


charming old england isn't all that charming once you get caught in the rain one too many times here in dreadful old London. and the oldness of the buildings only goes to show that architects here are DAMN LAZY. pffbt. estherlauderlyn please come to england and revolutionise this place ah thank you. i'm sure the PM will love you very much. since he one eye buta one, even if you make a design mistake he won't mind- because he cannot see.. HAHA.
