He was wise enough to take the one that belonged to Him in the first place.
So in a way, there was no loss. He was merciful to the remaining few so that they may have their eyes open to the very reality that is the End.
Maybe they were too arrogant, maybe they thought they were invincible.
But clearly they are not. They are still human. They may have the world as their oyster, but they are still permeable and still very much vulnerable.
You were in a season of togetherness in this sad tragedy. I hope that the lesson and the tragedy that you were faced so harshly with would serve as a lesson or maybe a revelation to you. Hopefully you all will realise that there's more to life than yourselves.
No, the whole of DJ is not with you. That is an over-assumption. You're almost all on your own in your own world. Not our world.
It was a sad loss. But to me, it isn't a loss because he belonged to Him already. He was merciful to spare the lot of you. So maybe it's time to buck up and ask real hard questions about life and face up to it?
