It's Late.

As we age and go into our mid twenties (I'm assuming my readership are my peers - grand total of 10 btw! hehe), I realise that goals and focuses all change.

Friendship and interpersonal relationships come to a sudden... slow down.

Not that friends aren't important- more like, our careers/personal goals and vendettas have just taken a far more urgent precedent in our lives, per se.

There will be the few that are close to my heart, only because they bothered to keep in contact. And some I've chucked aside because I simply do not have the time to keep up with those who don't make the effort to keep up with me. But of course, the favour is gladly returned when it is first received.

Selfish.

I guess that's what most of us are right now.

We have to focus on ourselves. Our lives, our futures, our thoughts and our actions.

ME ME ME ME US US US US US.

It sounds disgustingly self-absorbed, but I really do think it's just a phase in our (my) lives that we just... focus on what is on the immediate, and not what is on.. some place else.
